George Rexrode and Aaron Eye produce approximately 35,000, 42lb, antibiotic free, GAP certified tom turkeys per year for Virginia Poultry Growers Cooperative. In 1990, George started his turkey production, building two, 32,600 sq. ft. houses and producing hens for Wampler Longacre. In 2000, George switched integrators and began producing hens for ROCCO, later to become Cargill Meat Solutions.In 2006, George joined VPGC as a Two-Stage operation. In an effort to improve flock performance, George converted the farm to a Single Stage operation in 2021.

In 2019, Aaron Eye, a lifelong neighbor to George, joined the farm and currently manages the day to day farming activities. Aaron attended West Virginia University and honorably served four years in the United States Navy from 2006 till 2010. Together, Aaron and George produce a top quality, antibiotic free product to market and rank as one of VPGC’s top producers.
